Astray
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
You play as a man who wakes up in his workplace, all alone. He knows the only way out is locked so he has to find key fragments that have been hidden away in an attempt to block him from escaping. But there are other questions unanswered as well; things that lay waiting, untouched and undiscovered.

I'd say the key word to describe this game would be intrigue.
There's a whole lot of that going on as we explore our desolate workplace, wondering where our best buddy has disappeared to, along with seemingly everyone else. There are just this little snippets of potential solutions to the mystery dotted around, with some places triggering inner monologues from our character and a good bit of exploring unearthing some other strange goings-on.
Astray is a pretty short experience, narrative in focus and design, and the whole thing is built in a way to make you question just what happened, and to draw your own conclusions. I love games with that kind of aesthetic, and a few theories of my own definitely came to the surface as I was poking around!
I would have liked a little bit more, not to the story per se, but definitely to the size of the environment, because it didn't take too long to traverse the map... unless I missed something! But hey, if you wanna have a look for yourselves I'd definitely recommend giving it a go, just don't forget to show the devs some love, or some useful comments!
Keep up the awesome work Boxo peeps! =)
